Our Story
Transcend was built by you, for you.
Hi, I’m Julia — founder of Transcend. I created this space with one core belief: mental health should never be stigmatized, and healing becomes possible when we feel seen, understood, and supported.
Life can change in an instant. In 2024, one of my immediate family members was diagnosed with cancer. That same year, I became pregnant with my first baby. As I tried to navigate being a mother for the first time, working full time, and being a present family member and friend, I found myself facing postpartum depression and anxiety. I sought therapy and medication, and still do, but what helped me the most was connecting with people who truly understood what I was going through.
That’s what Transcend is built on: real connection.
This is a place where you can show up exactly as you are. Our online peer support groups are designed to be accessible, flexible, and meaningful, so you can find support that works for you.
I understand firsthand that opening up can feel daunting. That’s why from the very first interaction, the focus is on creating a space that feels safe, welcoming, and human.
It is my honor to walk alongside you in your journey, wherever that may be.
To transcend is to move forward while honoring where you’ve been. And you don’t have to do it alone.
